Waterproof housing for CANON EOS R8 digital camera
- This new-generation housing offers excellent ergonomics, providing a comfortable grip.
- The transparent polycarbonate back door allows for easy checking of the camera body positioning and control levers inside the housing. The specially formulated gray color reflects sunlight, resulting in better heat dissipation for the camera, especially during 4K video recording. Compared to black or transparent housings, the gray color provides superior contrast for better visibility of the LCD screen.
- The housing features levers and buttons that enable the use of almost all the camera's original controls.
- A dual fiber optic port allows for the triggering of external flashes using the camera's built-in flash, supporting simultaneous control of up to 2 external flashes via fiber optic connection.
- Optional TTL functionality is available with the addition of the DL5 DS Link TTL converter and the IKE 46075 flash bulkhead.

Accessible Controls:
All important camera controls are accessible from the housing, except :
- the diopter adjustment dial

This housing supports a wide range of lenses and utilizes the DLM (DRY LOCK MICRO) type A port system.

Compatible External Flashes:
The use of an external flash is recommended to improve color rendering and subject exposure. This housing allows the use of any flash with a fiber-optic triggering system.
To benefit from TTL functionality with Ikelite DS51, DS160, DS161, DS162, and DS230 flashes, a separate TTL electronic converter, the CANON DL5 DS LINK (IKE 46075), must be purchased.
