COLTRI ERGO 315 ET Compressor

The ERGO range has been designed to address the following issues: focusing on essentials, a reduced budget, and control systems that enable efficient monitoring of compressor operation. It is equipped with 2 front-mounted flexible inflation outlets, inter-stage pressure gauges, an oil level and air temperature safety, a rotation direction detector, a drive motor, a robust compression block, automatic drains, and an electrical cabinet that manages the automatic shutdown of the compressor.

The ERGO range is equipped with the MCH16 compression block developed by COLTRI since the late 1960s and continuously improved to meet performance, air quality, and robustness requirements for use in the most severe conditions.

A proven compressor block!

The ERGO 315 ET compressor is built to last. It has been tested thousands of times in the most extreme conditions worldwide.

It has been adopted by managers of the largest diving centers in Europe, Egypt, the Caribbean, Polynesia, and Asia for its reliability and ease of maintenance.

With over 90,000 machines in operation in fire and rescue services in Europe, North America, and Asia, it can handle high workload capacities at service pressures ranging from 330 bars up to 420 bars.

The ERGO 315 ET is also installed on merchant and military ships to meet the security service and diving needs on board.

Proven in the steel, automotive, plastics, and petrochemical industries to meet production requirements under harsh operating conditions, it can fulfill specific industrial process needs.

It is in service in the military operations areas of numerous armies around the world, with its robustness and reliability being key factors for the French army when renewing its machine fleet, deploying 150 compressors to various theaters of operation worldwide.

Compression block quality

The ERGO 315 ET compression block is designed for professional applications. COLTRI has left nothing to chance when it comes to this essential component of the machine.

All materials are machined from lightweight, high-energy performance alloys, ensuring increased reliability.

The precision-ground cylinders undergo ionic nitriding treatment, resulting in a highly hardened surface that provides excellent resistance to wear, friction, abrasion, and seizure.

The crankshaft is mounted on robust SKF bearings, guaranteeing a long lifespan for the block even under high temperatures.

The block is coated with a special paint that allows excellent heat dissipation while protecting it against external aggressions in saline atmospheres. The paint also facilitates easier maintenance when cleaning the cooling coils.

The inter-stage cooling coils, made of stainless steel 316L, are dimensioned to ensure optimal cooling and increased autonomy of the filtration cartridges.

The COLTRI ERGO 315 ET block is designed to compress air and Nitrox mixtures with up to 40% oxygen.

A compact chassis!

The welded frame of the ERGO range promotes good cooling airflow and protects the user. The chassis integrates the electrical cabinet, pressure gauges for all 3 stages, oil level safety, air temperature safety, rotation direction detector, electric motor, compression block, automatic drain and shutdown system, and filtration system. The powder-coated epoxy resin paint provides effective protection in hostile environments. The retractable carrying handles make it easy to move the compressor for mobile applications.

A simple and reliable control system!

To optimize machine reliability in all environments (heat, humidity, saline atmosphere, storms, cold, etc.), COLTRI has chosen to forego electronic control boards as a standard feature. The entire machine is controlled by a traditional electromechanical relay system. After years of service, any faulty component can be replaced locally without delay and without the constraints related to the cost and configuration of electronic boards.

The front-accessible compressor pressure switch allows for quick modification of the pressure range in case of the need for inflation at lower pressures.

The pressure gauges on all three stages enable precise monitoring of the machine's operation.

The rotation direction detector prevents the machine from operating if there is a problem with the electrical network, such as phase reversal. This protects the machine from the risks of reverse rotation and associated cooling problems.

The oil level safety and air temperature safety ensure reliable operation of the machine even when the user is not next to the compressor.

An efficient and environmentally friendly automatic purging system!

The compressor is equipped with a silent and efficient automatic purging system. Its adjustable timer allows for adapting the purging frequency based on ambient humidity levels.

The purging block is designed to consume minimal air during condensate evacuation to preserve flow performance.

The automatic purging system is equipped with a condensate recovery system with silencers, preventing the release of oily residues into the environment.

Filtration for breathable air quality!

The ERGO compressor range is equipped with multiple filtration systems to ensure air quality compliant with the requirements of the EN 12021:2014 standard.

The compression block is equipped with cyclonic separators on the second and third stages. The MAXIFILTRE final filtration ensures filtration of oil, odors, and water down to a dew point of -60°C.
